Lamb & Holmes Solicitors and chartered accountants Moore Stephens in Corby have recently combined their cookery expertise in order to raise money for a local charity. Staff from both companies put their baking skills into practice and donated homemade cakes and treats selling to staff, clients and other businesses.
£155.00 was raised in total and the money will be donated to NANNA (Northamptonshire Animals Needing Nurturing & Adoption), based in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire. Since 2004 NANNA has helped over 7,000 animals that have come into their care and the majority have gone onto find new forever homes with a fresh chance of happiness. NANNA is the Moore Stephens chosen charity of the year and they will be running various fundraising events over the coming months.
Lamb & Holmes have been holding an annual bake sale for the past four years in support of many local based charities. Victoria Kirk, Marketing Executive said, “As a responsible company, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we are based, so we are delighted to be able to make this donation to NANNA with Moore Stephens.
“We look forward to hearing about all of the great work that NANNA does, and we wish them the very best for the future.”
Hayley Reeves-Vane, Chair of the Moore Stephens Charity Committee said, “We were delighted when Lamb & Holmes asked us to be a part of their annual cake sale. Hopefully, by working together, we can raise even more money for NANNA.”
