Lamb & Holmes Solicitors is one of Northamptonshire’s oldest Law Firms, founded in 1813, by Mr Henry Lamb. The firm’s head office in Kettering is located on West Street and has been the Firms main office for over 200 years.
In 1880 Mr Charles Woodcock Stringer joined the Firm as Partner and the firm’s name changed and became Lamb & Stringer. Later in 1939, Mr Tony Holmes joined the firm as Partner and the firm became Lamb & Holmes.
In 1959, the Firm decided to open another office in Corby. In the 1960s, the Firm saw further growth. The Kettering office was extended into the neighbouring property, Westbury, which was previously the family home of the Lamb family.
Mr Edward Lamb, the great great grandson of Mr Henry Lamb, is a practising senior Partner in the Firm and is highly regarded by the local community for his commitment and continued work with local charitable organisations.
