At Lamb & Holmes, we are proud to support charitable causes We have previously raised money for The MS Trust, Alfie Bears Journey, The Lewis Foundation, Cransley Hospice, the Air Ambulance and Jeans for Genes. Our staff always put 100% effort into the fundraising, whether it’s honing their baking skills, buying gifts for raffle prizes or simply donating what money they can.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, an important opportunity to raise awareness of the most common cancer in the UK. Around 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime, and roughly 59,400 people are diagnosed every year.
Although we have not undertaken a fundraiser for Breast Cancer this year, it is wonderful to see our lovely staff members supporting such a fantastic charity. Today, 23rd October, is ‘Wear it Pink Day’ and colleagues have shown their support with their pink ribbons, pink accessories and adding a splash of pink to their outfits.
Every touch of pink helps to start a conversation and raise awareness.
